Family Portrait: Week 1 (Family as a Gift)
We all have family portraits, and they all say something about our families—the good, the complicated, and everything in between. Over three weeks, we'll explore how to receive family as gift, navigate family as challenge, and discover family as found. Whether your family of origin gave you roots or wounds (or both), this series creates space for honest conversations about the families we're born into and the families we find along the way.

      Friendsgiving
There’s something special about gathering around a table—sharing food, laughter, and stories with people who have become family. Bring your favorite dish to share and join us after a short time of worship for great food, good conversation, and gratitude for the community we’re building together. Whether you’ve been part of our church community for years or you’re brand new, you have a seat at our table.
Please choose a selection from the list when you register. You don't need to bring anything. If that's you, simply select "I'll be there!" If you'd like to bring food to share, please select one of the options provided, so we can plan accordingly.

      Rejoice: Week 1
The chaos, uncertainty, and constant fragmentation of our world is disheartening and exhausting—but promised peace can come. Over four weeks of Advent, we'll encounter how peace came to the outsiders, was found by the seekers, calmed the afraid, and was announced as good news for the entire world. As we turn our focus to the story of Christmas, we will find that peace has a name, and that name is Jesus.

      Spooktacular Trunk or Treat
Our annual Trunk or Treat is back, and it's become one of our favorite community traditions! Join us at Chicago's Pizza for an evening of costumes, candy, and connection.
When: Thursday, October 30 | 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Where: Chicago's Pizza (Arlington & Stop 11)
We’ve made one very important change this year.
We’re heartbroken watching our friends and neighbors face uncertainty, magnified with SNAP benefits now being impacted by the government shutdown. So, we’re going to do something about it at this year’s event.
We still want you to bring your kids for candy, costumes, and fun to our Spooktacular Trunk or Treat, BUT we also invite you to bring non-perishables to donate to God’s Bounty Food Pantry. We’ll have a collection trunk at the very front of the line to drop off items as you enter.
RSVP to help us plan!

Join us for honest conversations, practical resources, and the discovery that a healthier relationship with money is possible, wherever you're starting from.

      2025 Summer Book Club
Faith shifts. Questions come. And sometimes, the Jesus we grew up with doesn’t seem to fit anymore. Rather than give up on Jesus, maybe we need to leave behind the narrow confines that will never fit the Jesus we are meant to know.
This summer, we will be reading Freeing Jesus by Diana Butler Bass—a thoughtful, honest, and beautifully written book about rediscovering who Jesus is.
Join us on Thursday evenings from 6:30-7:30 PM, June 12-July 24.
If you’ve ever wondered, “Can I still follow Jesus if I’m not sure what I believe?”, this summer book club is for you.
